Legal Accounts Direct has been created for the Legal Profession to help and advise Legal Accounts personel. Many small practices employ part-time staff with little knowledge of Solicitors Accounts. The Institute for Legal Cashiers was established some years ago but they do not give you direct answers to the everyday running of a Solicitors Accounts Practice. This web site can help!
Who am I?
My name is Brenda Bennett and I have worked in the Legal Profession for more years than I care to remember. I have set up firms, been a troubleshooter when accounts departments were in a mess and trained people the correct way to comply with the SAR( Solicitors Accounts Rules)
I have worked in small local firms and larger city practices.
My wealth of experience has shown that you cannot learn the job in a few months. It is a specialised field and in house training is the best option,but this is not always possible. I decided to set up this Web site so I can reach more people and advise them.
Every Solicitors needs an efficiently run Accounts Department.
